Kid Rock and Sea Urchins~Random Things from Camp Zama

Ok, last weekend I traveled to Camp Zama.  That is our headquarters for the Japan Disitrict.  I had training there last week.  It is a nice area.  It is about 2 hours outside Toyko.  So I road on my first double decker plane.  It was huge!!! I will start Kid Rock.  My bestest brother and wonderful role model that I have looked up to my whole life!!! he is so wonderful and I cant wait to see him.  One of the things I remember about him when I was younger was the first time I got to bring him to school.  I got to come to school late that day (WHICH NEVER HAPPENED, I HAD TO BE DIEING IN order to miss school as a kid).  I was in the 5th grade, and he had brought Chasta to come visit as well. He was 21 at the time so I think this was one of the first few times we met Chasta.  Well I loved her and wanted to be just like her with her hair spray and everyhing.  Well Hootie and the Blowfish had just come out with their new CD, and with Chris always being so good at keeping up with what was cool he had the CD.  Well he gave it to me that day in his car after he took me to school!!! It was so awesome!!!  Soooo

I have always thought of music with my brother.  We really like a lot of the same things.  Especailly some of the more Rock and Roll stuff.  but we love Kid Rock, and Noah my wonderful nephew has always loved Kid rock.  So a long time running us Ortstadt's have loved Kid Rock.  I can rememeber when Noah was no more than 3-4, he was sitting in his car seat and had passed the time where he would only sleep in the car or would only scream in the car...what fun days!!! Well Chris had the new Kid Rock CD and I had gone to visit.  Chris said, "Hey Elizabeth you want to see something funny?", I said sure...He said this is a really awesome song...It was Jackson Mississippi, it is one of Kid Rock's more hard core songs, see below in link...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MGeRAPD6iSU He turned it on pretty load and i look in the back seat and there Noah is singing every word of the song!!! It was so cute, chris said he didnt even like the song but Noah would always ask for it and then Chris became to love it.  So this song always reminds me of Noah and Chris....Well to get back on track... Kid Rock has redone the song with Dale Earnhardt Jr. it premotes the National Guard! It is a really awesome song and video, so please check it out here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xHzSBEVbXtM

But hearing the new American Warrior version of the song reminded me of the "joys" of the military family but made me proud to have a husband that wants to serve!!! I am glad we have people like him in the world, and it made me remember the fun car ride of Noah singing Kid Rock and my brother always looking out for me!!!!
I cant wait to see you guys!!! i miss you a lot!!!

Ok so i saw the video in camp zama.

I also went to a highly recommended sushi resturant there.  We went with a couple of my co-workers. It was really fun hangin out with them and one of their wives is very Japanese savy. So helped with ordering food.  Well we ordered a very large variety of sushi.  Well one of the things was raw sea urchin.  I figured I needed to try it since I didnt have to really pay for it and might as well.  Well I tried it.  It is NOT my favorite.  I said oh this tastes very oceany...Tim said it way more nicer...as i feel like i am eating a boger off an old fishing net.  So I have eaten worse but think twice about eating raw sea urchin, it is like an oyster but definately not as good.   Well I miss everyone, and I would have posted this sooner but I did not have computer access last week during training...

Funny Video

Ok, So Happy Birthday to Chris, Chris, and Uncle Morgan.  My 2 brothers named Chris have the same birthday, June 2nd.  Which here right now it is no longer the 2nd but in the states it still is... So Happy Birthday to all of them!!! Yay!!!

Also Since vehilces are different here, you guys know we have a super cool, old minivan.  Which space here is a luxury except when parking in small areas, like most places here!!! But one of our very funny church friends posted a video on my facebook, about cool minivans.  It reminded me of a funny converstation with Montye.  I think everyone has said, " I WILL NEVER DRIVE A MINIVAN" but once you compare to an SUV and get in a minivan you wonder why you never had one in the first place they are so easy and great!  Especailly on price for wht you get compared to a SUV.  So when Chris Gardner  (I only specified the last name due to the fact that we have so many chris' in the family) told montye she had no choice but to get a minivan and she was very upset about it.... I asked her later about it and she loved it!! I love it, it is so cool and easy to get in!! Well she also said the kids think it is realy cool.  They all say, "Wow your mom has a minivan...thats awesome!! I found this really funny.

Well our lovely friend, Greg (A friend we have met through our biblestudy group), he posted a very funny minivan (i think add for Toyota).  So everyone please check out, especially Montye, because she is super cool with her minivan.  I love my minivan and it is not even a nice one, and Munson and Boomer love it too.  They like being able to see... SO this is for all the Cool Smart minivan owners.

So here is a funny creative laugh for you... Miss everyone..

Been Busy Sorry, Memorial Day, Jane Wayne Day

So work is in full swing, so getting on the computer and bloggin has been a little slow Im sorry.  Today will also be a shorter post because I am busy at work today so i am sneaking this in on my lunch break.  I read a really awesome email from my bestest buddy's dad, Ray!!! It was really awesome and I love stuff that supportst the military and this is a neat story so please read.   And rememeber that Memorial Day is to rememeber our troops and veterns. they work very hard and the families work hard supporting them, but so this is not a waste of post or information from me I will tell a story before I leave you with the email.

And it goes with the military theme, you dont relize the little things even suck in the military.  So there is a thing called Jane Wan Day.  It is a day where military wives do jobs that their husbands do everyday. So day in the life of your husband and people he works with.  Well, I am short on leave so brad and I decided it was better for me not to skip work to go to Jane Wan day.  I will make it to one, before he gets out...but I was talking to him and feeling bad that I didnt take off work to go, I said i would come over there for lunch.  So I asked Brad what they were doing and he said sitting around, so I was like ok great, I will come hang out for a bit and see you during lunch.  I should have known better dealing with sneaky Brad.  I get there and his group is doing Riot Control.  Yes you read that right Riot Control.  So Brad obvisouly nominates me, to be in the group and I am no longer being a person watching, I am now going to join in.  I say " thats ok i have some meetings and I need to get back to work."  Brad proceeds to say you are a woose and are boring, so my competiative side came out and I said fine I will do whatever dumb thing they are about to do.  Well I get dressed up in full pads, and this giant shield.

Yes, I was dressed in similar attire with my nice meeting work clothes on underneth, so ballet slippers, dressy shirt, and nice hair, and make-up.  Oh but yes i joined in, i was wearing a helmmets that stunk SOOOOOO bad, and that was so big for my face it slid down over my face, then I was to carry my giant sheild that wieghed about 30lbs, with one arm.  This is not as easy as it looks, then  move in formation, scream and yell, and take the beating of pepole that are fake rioting.  Yes i got hit in the face with my shield numerous times because I could not hold everything up, so I cant imagine what would have happened if the pepole were actually angry and wanting to hurt us!!! Oh I almost forgot then they launched water balloons at us numerous times, and Brad told them to aim at me, so I went back to work smelly, wet, and weird for my afternoon meetings.  And my phone rang off the hook that day except the one hour i was playing riot control.

So remember some of this stuff looks fun, but would you really want to do some of the things that are just expected of the military memebers, they wear lots of uncofortable clothes and uncomfortable situations and in places we would never want to be, so rememeber they are doing it for you, and their families are by their sides, so keep all military memebers and families in your prayers, cause not everyone can be as cool as me and last the 10 minutes before i wanted to quit.  Just try sitting still or standing still for 3 minutes, without moving in the heat without touching a bug that might land on you, if you can do that you are doing better than me, but military memebers can do that for hours, just because they have the didcation.  So read this nice story, that I got in me email today....it really is awesome!!! I wanted to cry a little but it definately gave me goose bumps!!!

Cemetery Watchman ...
I just wanted to get the day over with and go down to Smokey's. Sneaking a look at my watch, I saw the time, 1655. Five minutes to go before the cemetery gates are closed for the day. Full dress was hot in the August sun. Oklahoma summertime was as bad as ever--the heat and humidity at the same level--both too high.
I saw the car pull into the drive, '69 or '70 model Cadillac Deville, looked factory-new. It pulled into the parking lot at a snail's pace.. An old woman got out so slow I thought she was paralyzed; she had a cane and a sheaf of flowers--about four or five bunches as

best I could tell.
I couldn't help myself. The thought came unwanted, and left a slightly bitter taste: 'She's going to spend an hour, and for this old soldier, my hip hurts like hell and I'm ready to get out of here right now!' But for this day, my duty was to assist anyone coming in.
Kevin would lock the 'In' gate and if I could hurry the old biddy along, we might make it to Smokey's in time.
I broke post attention. My hip made gritty noises when I took the first step and the pain went up a notch. I

must have made a real military sight: middle-aged man with a small pot gut and half a limp, in marine full-dress uniform, which had lost its razor crease about thirty minutes after I began the watch at the cemetery.
I stopped in front of her, halfway up the walk. She looked up at me with an old woman's squint.
'Ma'am,may I assist you in any way?'
She took long enough to answer.
'Yes, son. Can you carry these flowers? I seem to be moving a tad slow these days.'
'My pleasure, ma'am.' Well, it wasn't too much of a lie.
She looked again. 'Marine, where were you stationed?'
' Vietnam, ma'am.. Ground-pounder. '69 to '71.'
She looked at me closer. 'Wounded in action, I see. Well

done, Marine. I'll be as quick as I can.'
I lied a little bigger: 'No hurry, ma'am.'
She smiled and winked at me. 'Son, I'm 85-years-old and I can tell a lie from a long way off.. Let's get this done. Might be the last time I can do this. My name's Joanne Wieserman, and I've a few Marines I'd like to see one more time.'
'Yes, ma 'am. At your service.'
She headed for the World War I section, stopping at a stone. She picked one of the flowers out of my arm and laid it on top of the stone. She murmured something I couldn't quite make out.. The name on the marble was Donald S. Davidson, USMC: France 1918.
She turned away and made a straight line for the World War II section, stopping at one

stone. I saw a tear slowly tracking its way down her cheek. She put a bunch on a stone; the name was Stephen X.Davidson, USMC, 1943.
She went up the row a ways and laid another bunch on a stone, Stanley J. Wieserman, USMC, 1944..
She paused for a

second. 'Two more, son, and we'll be done'
I almost didn't say anything, but, 'Yes, ma'am. Take your time.'
She looked confused.. 'Where's the Vietnam section, son? I seem to have lost my way.'
I pointed with my chin. 'That way, ma'am.'
'Oh!' she chuckled quietly. 'Son, me and old age ain't too friendly.'
She headed down the walk I'd pointed at. She stopped at a couple of stones before she found the ones she wanted. She placed a bunch on Larry Wieserman, USMC, 1968, and the last on Darrel Wieserman, USMC, 1970. She stood there and murmured a few words I still couldn't make out.

'OK, son, I'm finished. Get me back to my car and you can go home.'
Yes, ma'am. If I may ask, were those your kinfolk?'
She paused. 'Yes, Donald Davidson was my father, Stephen was my uncle, Stanley was my husband, Larry and Darrel were our sons.

All killed in action, all marines
She stopped. Whether she had finished, or couldn't finish, I don't know. She made her way to her car, slowly and painfully.

I waited for a polite distance to come between us and then double-timed it over to Kevin, waiting by the car.

'Get to the 'Out' gate quick.. I have something I've got to do.'
Kevin started to say something, but saw the look I gave him. He broke the rules to get us there down the service

road. We beat her. She hadn't made it around the rotunda yet.
'Kevin, stand at attention next to the gatepost. Follow my lead.' I humped it across the drive to the other post.
When the Cadillac came puttering around from the hedges and began the short straight traverse to the gate, I called in my best gunny's voice: 'TehenHut! Present Haaaarms!'
I have to hand it to Kevin; he never blinked an eye--full dress attention and a salute that would make his DI proud.

She drove through that gate with two old worn-out soldiers giving her a send-off she deserved, for service rendered to her country, and for knowing duty, honor and sacrifice.
I am not sure, but I think I saw a salute returned from that Cadillac.
Instead of 'The End,' just think of 'Taps.'
As a final thought on my part, let me share a favorite prayer: 'Lord, keep our servicemen and women safe, whether they serve at home or overseas. Hold them in your loving hands and protect them as they protect us.'
Let's all keep those currently serving and those who have gone before in our thoughts. They are the reason for the many freedoms we enjoy.

'In God We Trust.'

Sorry about your monitor; it made mine blurry too!

First Construction Project

Hello everyone, for May!! I have been a little behind but it because I have been working so much.  I am one of 2 LEED AP on the entire island, when the other just returned from afganistan last week. SO i am teaching the Japanese to learn LEED and making sure we can get LEED silver for a project that is at 40% construction, it is always hard working backwards.  But I am making a name for myself so that is good.

I start my first 2 construction projects tomorrow with the hardest costomer we have, the schools, so I am a little nervous even though we have told them numerous times we start 13 May, I dont think they really know we are showing up tomorrow. I am going to talk to them in the morning to work out the last few kinks, but will everyone please pray that things go smoothly for me, at least for the first few days.  I am excited, all this time and I am now going to have my own projects in construction.  They are smaller projects but I would rather start small.

Speaking of Pray, Brad and I have found our way back to a very strong spiritual life.  We are so excited and so glad that God is know our number one role in life and that we are on the right path.  We have officially joined a Baptist church here, called Koza Baptist Church.  Our pastor is a retire Marine, and we fit in great.  We are really meeting a lot of wonderful people through it and have made some good friends in our community group.  Brad and I are going to be showing our faith, and we are going to get re-baptized in the East China Sea in the next few weeks.  It is just a sign of our faith.  We feel that Koza is a good place for us, and it has really helped with dealing with being overseas and other issues.  Once I got over here, God was really calling me to come back to church, I just didn't know where, and I prayed and prayed, and I am glad that i did.  Also with dealing with Montye and being away from my family I really needed him with me.  So that is some exciting news going on here.  I never lost faith, I am just strengthening my faith.

Boomer and Munson are doing very well, if I didn't have to cook dinner I would get some pictures up, but now that I have my first May post, i will be updating often, I want to beat my entries from April. They love each other and Munson is back to his old self!!! They are crazy but gotta love them.

Also Brad put in his Warrant Officer package as you know, he found out the other day that there are 8 applications and 6 spots so if you could add a little prayer for him to get one of those spots we would greatly appreciate it.  It also means if he does we will be in the states in Feb!!!!! Thanks everyone, we love you and miss you very much!!!!

I will post how the first day of construction goes, check back soon.

Bye bye....lizzard as some people call me...

Montye's Sun

So, Back in the States last year, before we left...Brad and I were working on raising money for sarcoma and my cousin who has a rare type of cancer that only affects 1% of cancer patients and those are usually chilren and young adults. It was our way of dealing with her cancer.  We felt like we were doing something, well we did a good job and got some donations and had a bake sale so we ended up raising about 900 dollars in 2 months, while we were trying to move.  We had big plans for Montye's Sun, but we have slowly put them on hold since Montye was doing well, and the moving thing, it was very overwelhming for just the 2 of us.

But yesterday I got an email from my bestest buddy cousin!!! Johnny O, he wants to get it up and running again, so that really sparked me, because it is hard dealing with a family memebers struggle when you feel like you are literally in another world, and I guess you are.  So it was great to hear a positive voice and know that we are going to get everything back on track!!!

About feeling like I am in another world, I feel like I have glimpses of the old world when I talk to someone, but I feel that there are 2 worlds spining on an axel and I am on one, and everyone I have known before Jan 7th 2010, is on the other.  I thought I saw a person, I was not a huge fan of yesterday, and I was so excited that I almost ran up and gave this huge hug to a random person, it was a weird feeling because I would have not thought I would have been so excited to see them but since they were from the other world, I guess I wanted to see them more than I thought!!!

Back to Montye's Sun, it was a goal to start a non-profit to raise money for sarcoma research and a chosen family to help with their needs during this difficult time.  Well anyone that wants to help, bring it on, we need it again, back stronger and better, so check out the website, we will be updating it, and making it better,

Talking to John was such a refreshment!!! He is such a fighter like everyone else in our family!!! So Let's go!!

Dogs and Love

Ok so Munson is in flight, well, maybe not literally at this moment but he has started his journey to Japan. He is probably freaking out a little but I think he will be fine! About this time the Doggie Hotel should be picking him up and taking him to his hotel for the night. They will then take him to his plane ride tomorrow at lunch time for his flight to Japan. Tomorrow night I will be picking him up from the airport!!! We are very excited. Tom sent me an interesting story about dogs and a kids perspective on dogs, so I thought it kind of fit everything that is going on in my family and life right now, and with Munson’s travel because dogs really do make things better, ask Kathy the anti-dog person…until Walter!! I feel that everyone should try and remember these things in their daily lives and do them!!! Like when I tell Barrett something exciting, she jumps up and down wiggles and screams and yells, it is always good to tell her something exciting, it always makes you feel even better. I will keep everyone updated on Munson’s big adventure, I will also try and get a short video of when we get him and him out of his kennel with us for the first time in 5 months.
A Dog's Purpose from a 6-year-old? Being a veterinarian, I had been called to examine a ten-year-old Irish Wolfhound named Belker. The dog's owners, Ron, his wife Lisa , and their little boy Shane, were all very attached to Belker, and they were hoping for a miracle. I examined Belker and found he was dying of cancer. I told the family we couldn't do anything for Belker, and offered to perform the euthanasia procedure for the old dog in their home. As we made arrangements, Ron and Lisa told me they thought it would be good for six-year-old Shane to observe the procedure. They felt as though Shane might learn something from the experience.
The next day, I felt the familiar catch in my throat as Belker 's family surrounded him. Shane seemed so calm, petting the old dog for the last time, that I wondered if he understood what was going on. Within a few minutes, Belker slipped peacefully away. The little boy seemed to accept Belker's transition without any difficulty or confusion. We sat together for a while after Belker's Death, wondering aloud about the sad fact that animal lives are shorter than human lives.
Shane, who had been listening quietly, piped up, ''I know why.'' Startled, we all turned to him. What came out of his mouth next stunned me I'd never heard a more comforting explanation. It has changed the way I try and live. He said, ''People are born so that they can learn how to live a good life -- like loving everybody all the time and being nice, right?'' The Six-year-old continued, ''Well, dogs already know how to do that, so they don't have to stay as long.'' '

Lessens from God:

Be humble and be charitable to all.

Live simply and honestly.

Love generously.

Care deeply.

Speak kindly.

What are the lessens from your dog?: If a dog was the teacher you would learn things like: When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.

Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.

Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure Ecstasy.

Take naps.

Stretch before rising.

Run, romp, and play daily.

Thrive on attention and let people touch you.

Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.

On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.

On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.

When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body.

Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.

Be loyal.

Never pretend to be something you're not.

If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.

When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by, and nuzzle them gently.

ENJOY EVERY MOMENT OF EVERY DAY!

Could not Sleep well the Past few days

So the past fews days have been a little heck tick...Munson's flight is offically booked so unless there is a volcano in California, tokyo, or Denver, Munson will be here next week yay!!! So that is wonderful news!!!

On the Ortstadt side of things, we got some bad news that we are not sure what to do with yet...it is unofficial and still on the down low, but last night after the lady called about Munson's flight, so I was awake at 1 am, and I could not sleep, so I was thinking Ok, what can I talk about on my blog, I need to keep updating it and get in a better habit.  So yesterday at work I was talking to Yumiko-san.  She said she liked my earrings.  I was like thanks!!! But they are really heavy.  I said it makes me ears feel saggy. She said "Oh that is good, larger earlopes mean good fortune, and luck in Okinawa."  SO everyone, wear your heavy earrings and you will have good luck and good fortune!!!  So  I am not done yet....you guys know how I talk and think....my thoughts are running wild and I started thinking about the Chinese Zodiac Signs.  I was wondering what year, I was and what animal and what it meant.  So today, I decided to look it up...

Now I am not a believer in Zodiac and other forces that do not support God, but it is interesting and fun, to look at and I found some interesting things in the Zodiac signs, this morning, so this will be something fun for everyone to look at and compare. Just fun information...
Well I would like to say that the year 1983 is the Pig or Boar.  Now most people would be like, yuck who wants to be a big fat pig!!! Well in the Japan and China the pig is one of the luckiest signs to be, for numerous reasons but the main one is, you will be lucky, because you will not have to work hard and you will prosper in money and life...they reasoning is look at a pig, they get to be fat and lazy, eat all the time and other take care of them!!! So yes!! I am a lucky pig that people will wait on me while I eat and make money... By the way this has not happened yet, but maybe I have time to see!!! i will say that I am very lucky for my friends and family and life soo...it might be more true!!!!

Well now I am going to talk about a few people that I know wont mind me talking about on my blog...
Well my Brother Chris is the Ox, they work hard and are humble people...this fits him perfect, Dependable, ambitious, calm, methodical, born leader, patient, hardworking, conventional, steady, modest, logical, resolute, tenacious. Can be stubborn, narrow-minded, materialistic, rigid, demanding.

Boar/ Pig is me, we are Honest, gallant, sturdy, sociable, peace-loving, patient, loyal, hard-working, trusting, sincere, calm, understanding, thoughtful, scrupulous, passionate, intelligent. Can be naïve, over-reliant, self-indulgent, gullible, fatalistic, materialistic. I try to embody most of these things, and think these  fit me pretty well.  I need to definately work on a few...

Brad is a Monkey, which kinda just fits just in the name...he he...Inventor, motivator, improviser, quick-witted, inquisitive, flexible, innovative, problem solver, self-assured, sociable, artistic, polite, dignified, competitive, objective, factual, intellectual. Can be egotistical, vain, selfish, reckless, snobbish, deceptive, manipulative, cunning, jealous, suspicious.  Some of these are dead on but some are off, but it is interesting to look at how the describtions change and how they fit too....

Kathy is Tiger...Unpredictable, rebellious, colorful, powerful, passionate, daring, impulsive, vigorous, stimulating, sincere, affectionate, humanitarian, generous. Can be restless, reckless, impatient, quick-tempered, obstinate, selfish, aggressive, moody.  Kathy is a very sprited person and always has been, Aunt Ann wanted to bottle up her energy and become a millionaire selling it, and she has such a passion for others, so Even though this describtion seems crazy, i think it fits her well!!!

Now, some interesting comparisions, My whole life I have been told I act a lot like my father, that I look like him, and I am definately his daughter (I almost wrote son... not sure brain fart...) but that I have good characteristics of my mom too, but My Dad was a Boar/Pig as well, so that was interesting, now it gets a little weirder because Besides Chris who looks extremely like my dad, we have another family memeber that looks scary close to her Great Uncle Blair.  Little Julia, came out and I said oh my gosh she looks like Daddy, and everyday she get older and older she looks more like him!!! But our Little Julia is a Boar as well.  Now Anna Grace is a monkey as well, and her and Brad are 2 peas in a pod.

Also Kathy was told her whole life that she looks and act like our Mom Louie, well Louie is a Tiger too!! Tom you are a Dragon...haha not literally...hehe :) but in the chinese zodiac world!!!

OH and our newest addition to the family...Adelaide...she is a tiger too!!! Steve and Courtney get ready for passionate, and colorful, and unpredictable!!!!

So everyone check out you zodiac sign and see if you think you fit, it is interesting to read the stories of how all this came about too.

Well that is your thing to do today, read about the Chinese Zodiac....is just fun, nothing serious. Please comment if you think you fit the animal you are!!! I miss everyone...Pictures of the house coming soon!!! Love you!!!

Boomer and Munson and Great Family

Hey everyone, So I promised more blog posts, yet I have not followed through, which if you know me, that is not like me to promise something and then not get it together...So I need to be punished and get on the bandwagon!!! So we have moved, and that is no longer an excuse says my good friend Lahrissa!!! So I will stop using that excuse and keep you people informed of my wonderful, super interesting life, that you guys can't live without hearing what is going on...that should be a clue that I should keep you in the loop, because all of you have put your life on hold for me...he he I am SOOOOO kidding!! I will get better.

But first a Yay for my good friend from Savannah, My Running buddy and great friend Debbie, is now a grandmother.  Luke joined us at the beginning of Last week, so we are very happy.  Also while dealing with Montye and a few things Debbie gave great comfort while dealing with Montye's diagnosis, because her family has dealt with cancer and worried that having Luke might not be possible, so Yay for the Butler and Bragg Family!!!! We love little miracles and when we see God in our Life!!! We know he is there but it is an amazing thing when we get to see him in our lives!!!

Next, Brad's family is SOOO wonderful.  Nancy and Bill have been taking wonderful care of Munson and Rocky over the past few months, while I fought my dog war against the military!  Well after long discussions we have decided to have Munson come live with us and Rocky (my main hunting, and wondering man) will be holding down the fort in Oklahoma.  So since Munson is such a whinny Baby, Brad decided that he wanted to get a dog. We look all over the island at numerous types of dogs, and this little guy just called to Brad.  We then a vote on what we should name him, since he is Brad's dog, i had no say in the matter.  Sumo was a great name suggestion along with Chomper, i really liked both.  But Since I am from Geaorgia and Munson is named after Georgia, Brad decided that Boomer, should be Named after Oklahoma, since that is where Brad is from so we have Boomer Sooner and our Munson "voice of the Bulldogs".  The little girl downstairs says that she named Boomer because Brad asked if he should be Chomper or Boomer, so she claims the naming which is very cute.

Jana, a friend of ours, who is great!! Is a photographer, you should check her website out  http://janawhitephotography.com/, took a few random photos on the long day of finding Boomer.  Here are a few...
Boomer is very sweet but he does not like to get into trouble, well he does but he does not like to get caught!!! He is funny and keeps us on our toes, I think he will do the same for Munson , when munson gets here. Our Oklahoma and texas family are getting Munson ready for "Munson's Great Adventure" they are the Dream team!!! They are helping with all his paperwork and getting him on the plane.  Munson will be on his way here on 26 April. We will get him here 28 April (i think).  We cant wait to get our Hunk of love, and we will Miss Rocky but we think it will be best, also Nana and Bpa are doing such a good job as Granddog parents, we did not want to saden them too much by both boys leaving!! He he!!

I will post pictures of the apartment, the zipline, and a few resturantast that we have been to lately, but once again i do not want to run out of material, and I need to stick to my promise, and Brad needs to help me with the zip line photos and video...you too Robert!!!

Anyways, I love and miss you guys!!! until Later!!
